Arise (“the app”) is a morning alarm app. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Account & identity. When you first open Arise, we create an anonymous account (a random ID) via Firebase Authentication — no name or email required. If you later create a full account, we collect the email you provide.
App data you create. Alarm settings, streak history, dismissal records, milestone/unlock status, and preferences (wake time, morning-difficulty answer, bedtime settings, theme, time format), stored in Google Firebase so your data persists across devices.
Microphone / voice. The voice-dismissal feature listens only while you are dismissing an alarm and have tapped to speak. Speech is transcribed by your device’s built-in speech recognition (Apple or Google). Arise does not record, store, or transmit your voice audio — we receive only the text result to check the phrase.
Purchases & subscriptions. Premium purchases are handled by RevenueCat and the app stores. Your payment details are processed by Apple/Google — we never see or store them.
Usage analytics & diagnostics. We may collect anonymized usage events (via PostHog) and crash reports (via Sentry) to improve the app.
Notifications. Alarms and bedtime reminders are delivered as device notifications.
We do not show ads, and we do not sell your personal information.
To provide the alarm, streak, sleep-sounds, and reminder features; sync your data across devices; process and restore subscriptions; fix crashes and improve reliability; and respond to support requests.
We process data to perform our contract with you, on our legitimate interests (improving and securing the app), on your consent (microphone, notifications — withdrawable in device settings), and to meet legal obligations.
We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your data or share it for third-party advertising.
You can delete your account and data at any time in the app: Settings → Account & Data → Delete account & data. Note: store subscriptions must be cancelled separately in your Apple App Store or Google Play account — deleting your Arise account does not cancel an active subscription.
Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, India’s data-protection law), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Use the in-app deletion tool or email support@arcanumworld.org. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Arise is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Our providers may process data in other countries (including the United States) under their safeguards.
We may update this policy; we will change the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
